Caller: Vicki Martin and Jacob from Ebay!! A person who claimed to work for ebay rang me and wanted to assist me in cancelling an order that had been put through ebay by a hacker. They wanted my phone details, (brand of phone) so that they could send me a cancellation form detailing my personal details to assist them. When I asked why as well as a few other questions, they hung up on me.
I rang them back, and they answered "hello" no business name etc, and when i asked for Vicky they hesitated but then put me onto someone. After asking them some more questions, they again hung up.
I rang several times again just for fun, and spoke to Jacob who assured me he worked for Ebay and that I really needed to do what they asked so i wouldn't be charged on my ebay account. I asked which ebay account this was in relation to, as I have several, and they hung up again.
I have reported this to ScamWatch, but wanted to warn others.
The callers said they were calling from Bundaberg in Qld.

Caller: Indian Scammers Received a call with an automated message asking to confirm an EBay purchase, then gave option to cancel purchase, change account to debit or speak to a consultant.
Spoke to a "consultant" who wasn't able to confirm any of my apparent details, hung up once I started asking questions. Called back- spoke to a "senior manager"- who hung up
