Got a call from (07) 2111 2850. They hung up after I answered the phone

Caller: Blind, deaf, mute monkey, obvs: see no numbers on keypad (my bad luck they entered mine), hear no screams of profanity (their bad luck they entered mine), speak no words.

Our prank calls on mum's rotary-dial landline absolutely KILLED among the local latch-key cogniscenti stuck at home in the early '70s while other kids tore up the neighbourhood on dragstars & skateboards they got for Christmas because their parents loved them.

We just wanted to enrage strangers with stupid jokes (also, provoke one into weeping, begging & offering to pay for a psychiatrist...the thanks I get for playing her jaunty tunes on piano over & over & over...) ('Funeral March', since you ask).


I'd far prefer prank calls from idiot young'uns getting their 5-cents-a-call worth of sh*ts & giggles on a wet Saturday over one 5-cents-a-week bot jock and a few idiot wrong'uns (or 'NiGEeriAns') who need your help (or 'bank account details') because being a prince is not cheap, you know.

Seriously, how does anyone fall for that?

Oh, dear, did I just hear my dogma get hit by karma? I did, didn't I.

I been getting calls from this number (07) 2111 2850 and 072111285_ ending in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 they don't talk they just hang up it is very annoying because it can be day or in the middle of the night.
