Was called repeatedly. Offering huge discounts on room rate. Red flag when they asked for so much personal information. Called Marriott. They said they never call with such offers. Said it was a scam. Beware it’s a huge scam. Have some people tracking the scammers. Beware.

I work for Marriott, and you're referring to Marriott Vacation Club's discount packages - they are genuine.

Called me many times and left messages. Whether it’s a scam or not I’m not interested.

I had a call two months ago and took up the offer and it was amazing. We had a three nights stay for $249 in total for the 4 of us. Room was lovely with great views down to the incredible pool and over the ocean, We even had a full size fridge and kitchenette which was great for the kids. Great spot - tram to everywhere just over the road and a nice walk up to Cavill Avenue. The breakfast buffet was the best we have seen. 90 minute presentation was great - no pressure just information and a tour of the resort! It was definitely worth it for what we got in return! take the time to listen to the lovely ladies and gents who call!

If you call the JW Marriott Surfers Paradise they will confirm that it is not a scam and they transfer you directly to the team member who left your message

Kept receiving calls and leaving VMS non stop offering 80% discount to newly renovated surfers paradise Marriot.

When googled couldn’t find anything that indicated. So I called the Marriot directly. They advised it’s a scam and they wouldn’t call and also wouldn’t offer that much discount ever lol.

Please be careful people are taking advantage of good aussies wanting a break.

Disgusting humans.

I didn't answer and the caller didn't leave a message. After seeing reports here that it is Marriott Hotels I googled "Marriott Hotels scam" and found that this is a common robocall scam run worldwide offering "special deals". Marriott Hotels have made several declarations that they do not make these calls.

Suspect they are not from JW as they asked if I owned my own home … if I was married and for how long. Not questions a hotel chain needs to ask.
