Solar Rebate Annoying they're always calling with different phone numbers. I keep blocking them. they keep calling with another number.

Could be related to (02) 9159 2560 about shares... (woman with pure indian accent) whom I hung up on yesterday. They kept calling me by the wrong name, so it was easy to work out. People should consider giving them an alias once, that way you can screen them out more easily every time they address you with your alias.

Caller: Solar Rebates - Procare

Indian call centre - I believe calling on behalf of Procare about Solar Rebates (lots of background noise). Definitely would have had my details because I entered them on a price quotation website. Solar consultant from Procare will call me tomorrow. Will post more later. Want to see if it is a scan or not. I have done my research on rebates and accreditation of installers so will be interesting to have a discussion with the cold caller.

Called at 6PM ie dinner time! I don’t answer or return numbers that are not in my address book. I figure if the call is genuine they will leave a message. Cold call outfits never leave a message in my experience. Thanks for the heads up re this number.

Broken English speaking man, calling about my solar panels. I have no solar panels & do not own my home. When I told him that he said he would ‘f**k my a**e’.

The person took 30 seconds to answer (I put the phone down and walked off). He asked for someone, soon as I said that person isn’t here. He hung up. how rude!!

Caller: Something to do with making sure that I have got my electricity at the right price.

Would love to know where these people got my number. Their number 0499 993 214) is a fake and cuts out when called back. I keep blocking them and they keep calling back from different numbers. When I ask where they got my number from they tell me that they are working for a "government instrumentality" and are therefore given lists of everyone's numbers. All I have to do is give them them the full name and address and account number of the person in my household who pays the electricity accounts and they'll get back to me. Yeah. Right. Sounds like a load of call centre con-artistry to me.

I called back number 0499 993 214 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

They rang seven times, I dint pick up...called from another number..one ring and disconnected.

Caller: guy pretending to be Commbank

guy with english accent scam call saying I had fraud transaction on my account - transactions didn't exist and said that another device was registered for app - also didn't exist. Same number as commbank international but with different extension.

It was a recorded message saying my bank accounts had been illegally used.

This number, 0499 193 267, keeps calling and when I call them back I get a message saying the number is disconnected. 🤔

Scum Bag scammers. Block

I just blocked them and they called back 10 minutes later with another number. Gotta admire their enthusiasm!

Answered the call they just hung up. It’s the 2nd call I’ve had tonight from them - sick of it.
