I called back the number 0499 222 247 and spoke with a man who didnt mention the company he's calling from

Caller: An abusive jackass

This guy called our organization needing assistance and took issue with my accent and proceeded to abuse me swearing and yelling about government departments ( which we aren't) hiring foreign workers( I'm a citizen). Dude, if you read this, you are a whackjob.

I got a call from this number, rang back and it was a message, it’s a scam

Answered the phone. Lots of background noise. Finally someone says hello. I'm assuming it's from a call centre

Instant hang up when i picked up. assume spam caller

I called back the number 0499 222 247 and the guy on the other line did not mention the company name

this number just rang and did not leave any message. When I rang back got a funny message saying "I'm on the phone which is ironic please hang on" then it hangs up and I get the message "this mailbox is full". So sounds like a scam just not sure at this stage.
