I clicked the link which took me through a few a different web addresses before loading with an odd http address but a realistic looking tnt fedex page with a tracking number. Seems dodgy as I am expecting no deliveries at present and due to the http address being weird

Caller: Texted - claiming to be delivery service

I received a text that mimicked an AusPost one that took me to a website saying I had a delivery. I wasn't expecting anything but I had a look anyway. They wanted to ask me for all my personal info and to pay a "delivery fee" to have "something" delivered.
TOTALLY A SCAM. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION.

Same message as above "msg info" in bold. Followed by "Hello - Your order has been held at our forwarding depot. Please follow instructions here:...." and then a dodge AF link.

I can clearly see it's a scam but i know many people, including older people would be tricked by this. It's terrible!!

Received the same text as Jane. Didn't click on the link, just deleted it.

Received same SMS message and as I was expecting a delivery from the US which was well overdue, I assumed it was held up due to a customs charge and legit. Ended up (unknowingly) subscribed to 'teleasyhops'. A subscription fee had been charged to my cc. First time I've ever fallen for something like this. Had to cancel my cc. Beware.

Same Infomsg as most above. Scary though that it was addressed to me personally.

recieved a msg this morning.
"hello- your order has been held at our forwarding depo. please follow instructions here:" then gives a dodg link.
from the looks of it, its defiantly a scam, would never click such a link.
the weird thing is (and someone else above said the same) i have a parcel stuck somewhere in customs.
quite obviously my number is on the package, so one the delivery guys or customs officers must somehow be leaking our numbers for this scam.

Exact same as Jane. I’m actually waiting for some deliveries so it looked possible, but then it brings you to a page to put your info that also advertises iphones, plus I looked up the tracking number on TNT’s website and it doesn’t exist. Certainly a scam.

This is the message I received, it is definitely a scam, do not click on the link or provide any info if you have:

Received a text message from this number
Content = "Hello - Your order has been held at our forwarding depot. Please follow instructions here: [http link]"

This is a scam. If you have received a similar message, delete straight away. Also do pass along the message to your older relatives or friends to prevent these scammer from succeeding their scam. You never know, but they might received such message in the future?

Got the same bogus "we are holding your order at our depo..." BS today, as well as the old "thanks for your order, $299.99 will be direct debited...blah blah [you know how it goes] from some clowns (on 03 58 777 000) yesterday. Nobody should open such messages let alone click on any of the links they provide [you may be unwittingly opening a door for spy/malware] at least throw the number into Google or check on sites like this Reverse call, FIRST before doing so, ...you just might find out all about the number and be thankful.

Same massage content as Jane - website looked like TNT/FedEx with tracking number included. Did not click on link as it looks fraudulent.

Same as Jane. Got the msg today, I am expecting a delivery but this is dodgy.

Received message with subject of "msginfo".
Text message saying "Hello - Your order has been held at our forwarding depot. Please follow instructions here: http://v0i.me/tpToa".
Obviously a scam, didn't click on the link. Blocked number and deleted.
