Caller: 0498 521 026 sent a text message SCAM

Express delivery Tracking number to my mobile phone number, delivery TODAY. Authorise delivery. + other options here:....

When I clicked on the link it took me to what looked like Australia Post and said that the package was stopped due to non payment of postage. Then it was going to take me to a link to arrange delivery and for me to pay the postage.

I put the tracking ID into Australia Post's actual website address and it states that it couldn't find the tracking number. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Text message: Hello - your order has been held at our forwarding depot. Please follow instructions here: [shortened link to make it harder to identify fake TNT/FedEx website].

Followed link, got tracking number. Checked tracking number in actual TNT site and it returned no results.

It goes on to ask for personal details and a $3 customs fee.

Should have just checked the number here first!

Same as everyone. Text re delivery. Assumed suspicious and am ignoring and deleting.

Link is a fake TNT website that wants you to pay for $3 in “customs fees”. Was suspicious of it but I have ordered something from overseas so did was others did and checked the “tracking number” on the real TNT website.

100% a scam.

Definitely a clever scam. I got this message and deleted it.

Didn't follow the instruction instead copy and paste the link to the comp, to see what it is, turn out a fake website of TNT, then I copied and pasted the ref# number there ( from the fake website) to the legit TNT website and nothing...its says no reference number found.
