Not accepting incoming calls

Scammer, annoying

Caller left no message but could hear in the backgound Indian-type accents of maybe a call centre. One would think that Telstra track and stop such calls.

Hung up as soon as I answered

Called 3 times. No message left.

Alleged nuisance call. Also received call on Saturday with similar number but ending with 235 but went to voice mail - person sounded indian or could be chinese when replayed (7 seconds). Obviously a call centre to get business.

Nuisance call. Requested to speak with 'Darcy' and then hung up

Called 4:45pm on 1/11. Answered call, waited for a few seconds, then I said hello. They hung up Immediately.

Rang twice, inaudible background noise, now blocked!

Saying they were from the government to install a device to monitor what devices I was using. Overseas call center

Phone didn't ring. Went straight to voicemail. No message left. Had this happen twice today before I reported as spam.

Very thick Indian accent obviously calling from a call centre. Claimed to be from the government & asked if I have a smart meter. Told him I lived in a tent & he hung up🤣

When calling this number back it stated this number is not taking incoming calls at the moment. Scammers

Tel twice [1st last week] blocked and attempted call earlier today, thankfully blocked.

Caller: Provided number by Victorian Energy Saver

A list is provided by Victorian government to multiple companies who conduct the installs for them. Any one of those companies will have provided our numbers to overseas call centres for cold calling.
I haven't lived in Victoria in ten years and I've received calls from these call centres on behalf of the companies so even if they say they'll take you off their list, multiple places have you on their list.
Best to just hang up. They won't stop calling.
