I received a text from this 0492 168 471 number as the Commonwealth Bank, about suspicious transactions from debit/credit card and the link where they ask me to update my details. SCAM all over this.

DO NOT select the link!

Got a text saying "We have your package waiting at our deport. Please finalise shipping fees to avoid delays. More info: suspicious link"

Received a text from 0492 168 471 saying it was CommBank and that they had locked my NetBank access due to suspicious transactions and a link to take immediate action. I mmediately took action and deleted the text so obviously a scam.

Text from this number supposedly from Westpac re a new Osko payee. This number is a scammer

I got a text message from this same number on 16/7/21. "Do you need a part time job? Monthly salary $3000 - $8000. Interested? please contact whatsapp (sic)" with a link to click on. Message like this from unidentified anonymous sender screams SCAM! Wouldn't touch it with the proverbial ten foot pole!!! BLOCKED!!!

Caller: I received a text

Text purporting to be from PayPal telling me my disbursement for $2,189.00 was successful. I did not purchase anything from PayPal. Text also listed a number for disputes 1800 940 887. They asked for my email without being to verify where in fact they are from. SCAM written all over this

This phone number sent a text purporting to be from Amazon FALSELY "confirming" the purchase of a $21999 camera. Within the text message was a link supposedly to Amazon Customer Support. IT IS A SCAM, beware.
