Said they were from My Heritage, Family Tree Website. Said they had a special offer. When I asked for an invoice to be emailed nothing came through.

My heritage do not call you. . They deal in emails only .if you require support for app then a tech may ring .I have been a member for 10 years and this number is scammers

The call to me from this number was legit. The caller was able to give my subscription and contact details correctly. She sent me a confirmation email with a link that took me to my account. I didn't like the hard sell but it wasn't a scam. I changed my MyHeritage password to make doubly sure. No, I didn't take up their discount offer.

As I had just cancelled My Heritage subscription on Sun 11/3, as it is way too expensive being in US dollars, I got this call yesterday 12/3 and now that I have read al these comments I am glad I did not answer it. But I usually don't anyway sometimes I get calls from NT and Crtistmas Island and as I definately do not know or deal with anyone outside WA that has my personal mobile number I can sure its a scam. My Heritage must be desperate because when in the process of cancelling my membership a box popped up with a 60% reduction so it went from $249 which is what I paid las year only through a mistake and accidentally letting the membership autoload an expensive mistake that I am still kicking myself about, to $96 but it is still too expensive as you can build a tree but any time you want to confirm matches it goes to an upgrade screen... no thanks, useful as it has Photo dater but too expensive to continue. Thanks everyone for contributing to this site it really helps with unkown numbers.

They said that they were from My Heritage, Family Tree Website. Why are they using a mobile number?

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

Legitimate sales call from my heritage. Looking to upgrade/upsell services.

I believe they obtained my phone number when I paid for DNA features.

Caller: "Ben"

BEWARE! Called my phone number but asked for my partner using only her first name. Claimed to be "Ben" from MyHeritage, but began asking all sorts of personal questions that they should have known had they been from MH, all raising a LOT of red flags and motivating us to terminate the call. They called back moments later and we did not answer, ultimately blocking the number. Almost certainly a SCAM!

It's a legit number, although call comes from overseas. I'm not renewing my subscription as it's a lot of money at the moment hence I'm getting a flurry of calls offering me a great deal to stay on.

Called and was told they are from my heritage family tree. When I asked how they had my number they went silent on the phone, they then said its on your account with your account details. *pause* I then straight away said no thankyou not interested because I know it isn't and that my profile is blank and he said I had connections.

Scammer. I agree with the above. They are coming through as my membership ran out with My Heritage!

Last week I cancelled my renewal to My Heritage. They have been emailing me and now it looks like they are spam calling. I was really annoyed last year as they auto renewed it when I did not realise they had my authority to do that. Thats a big reason why I cancelled. And then they offer you big discounts. Shonky as.
