the email wasn't that sophisticated. full of spelling mistakes. easy to spot. strung them along for a whole afternoon on the promise I had 10 $100 iTunes vouchers ready to send but how could I be sure it was really the CEO

Received an email purportedly from my CEO requesting my assistance with something and requesting my 'cell phone number to concise with me' - which sounded weird from the beginning as my CEO doesn't sound like that! I sent my mobile no by return and then the 0488 892 843 number came back with a text message askign me to confirm i had received 'his' text. I was quite certain at this point it wasn't my CEO and checked in on him in his office!! Definite scam!
