Caller: Visa department

I answered and an operator said they are from the visa department. Saying 2 transactions were made. I hanged up after the transaction was said.

Telstra technical Scam

Caller: NBN imposter

Fake NBN caller saying Telstra is overcharging me. I told him "Tell me something I don't know"? He started a spiel so I put the phone down and went out to mow my lawns.

Received a call from 0488 879 206 claiming to be from the Commonwealth Bank. I hung up simmediately

Answer the phone and no one says anything

Caller: Vodaphone

Caller said they were from Vodaphone and were my network provider. They are not. I blocked the number.

Ignore numbers you dont know

Call from 0488 878 206 received today 23/02/24 in Vic. They hung up and I blocked.

Caller: National Broadband Network

Claimed to be from the NBN. Clearly a scam.

Caller: Scam claiming to be PayPal

Automated message from “PayPal”, hung up before listening to full recording as I don’t use PayPal.

left on my voicemail "said this is a forward charge immediately press 1 of 2 to approve" bloody scammers

sent a voicemail saying to press 2 forward charge scam blocked

Caller: man saying he was from the Commonwealth Bank

He became angry when I said I wasn't expecting a call from the CBA, he began saying, "You need to be, you need to be", so I hung up & blocked the number. Unpleasant!

Caller: 0488 879 206

Indian lady Claimed to be from Telstra and that something is wrong with my IP address, I call her a scammer and she got offended and hanged up.

Another scam caller who seems to be associated with other numbers in the same mobile phone number group as 0488 875 623 and 0488 879 203 and other numbers starting with 048887..... (ie. only the last 4 digits are different). Probably some scam group who have taken out a block of similar mobile phone numbers.

This number is allocated to a company called PIVOTEL SATELLITE - I'll leave you to figure out why someone would be calling you from a satellite phone.

Said from PayPal wanting approval of large online shop.

Number calling other people also called ? Left no recorded voice ( or "A I " ? ) whatsoever . As mentioned by other,s receiving this number caller it is deemed ( ONCE AGAIN ! ) another current scam circulating !

Claimed to be from NBN and wanting to give a free upgrade to my line as there were speed issues. He hung up when I started asking him why he needed to know how many devices I had in my home.
