Started out with music and an American voice saying, "Hello..." I hung up immediately.

Probably a scam.

Automated message left in another language.

Chinese recorded message. Followed by English recorded message - something about an emergency. HAH!!! Clearly a scam call.

Recorded female voice said, hello this is Telstra, your mobile number has been used in an unauthorised way and will be shut down immediately. I’m then told to press 9 if I want to talk about it. No way. Clearly a scam.

Stated from Optus with emergency message then got a Chinese recording

Claiming to be from a security company dealing with credit cards. Told her "whatever she was selling I wasn't interested & hung up

Phone identified call as potential fraud and automatically blocked calls.

Tried to call them back got an automated message saying “mail box is full and cannot accept any messages at this time”

took a few seconds for anything to come through, then someone come on claiming to be commonwealth bank, with sounds of a call centre in the background. I hung up and blocked the number

Same as last but a few digits ahead in phone number security for visa they had said I just hang up. If a beep goes or they don’t talk instantly u know it’s a robotic call. I don’t hang around if there’s a pause they are trying to get your data. Third time in as many days. It’s getting worse!

Someone from Commonwealth Bank with an Indian accent said that I had an overseas transaction of $499 that is on hold. I asked him to tell me who am i because if he was from Commbank he would know how he was calling, and he started to laugh on the phone.
