Leaves a message in Chinese

Caller: SCAMMER

Got a call from this unrecognised number so didn’t answer it. A minute later got an SMS from same number saying it left a voicemail message so called 101 and listened to the message and it started by saying press 1 for English or 2 for Chinese. As I had pressed neither it then went on after a short pause with a female voice speaking in Chinese. I am not Chinese and I don’t know anyone in China who would be calling me either on my mobile number that only three of my relatives know, and none of them are Chinese either. So I would say it’s a Chinese Scammer just trying their luck by calling random Australian numbers and hoping to find a gullible and foolish Aussie to answer their call. I won’t be hearing from them again because now they’re BLOCKED.

was busy so call just called al way through, then listened to voicemail and it was a robot sounding chinese woman telling me my passport info is incorrect and to reach back to them immediately, to get the issue sorted out, then about 3 seconds after that she started js yapping chinese

Claimed to be calling from Telstra - some excuses related to my IP being in public network

Polished female "Australian" accent said that my mobile phone service would go inactive in 2 hours. For further information press 1 now. pfft... as if...

My wife got a call from this number saying she had a $220.00 account with Pay-Pal that has to be paid. Push this button or that button etc. She does not have an account with Pay-Pal so knew straight away it was a scam so hung up.

Told me they were from Telstra & my ip address had been made public instead of private & my internet was at big risk of hacking. Ended up yelling & abusing me when I didn’t play the game. One million percent a scam, I sure hope nobody at Telstra speaks to customers like that lol

Voicemail left in Chinese. Replayed message to translator app on another device and it transcribed as “this is the last voice notification from DHL International Express….”

Recorded message saying ‘your phone is behaving strangely and therefore will be cut off’

Surely people are not EVER dumb enough to “press 1 for English”

Technical Supoort Line - que in line to speak to a representative.

rang on saturday afternoon, unknown number, no message left. Probably a scammer because an hour ago I had a different phone call from a similar number where only the last digit was different - that I blocked. No message left then either. Both numbers have been reported on number lookup sites as scam calls.
