Caller: Telstra??

Had a Telstra issue which was resolved- received
An automated call from “Telstra” advising that I
Had a phone issue and my contract has now been terminated

I received a call from this number, and it was someone pretending to be from Visa, about a fraudulent transaction on my account. Sounded like an offshore call centre, very persistent, was getting annoyed with me when I gave them no information, as I had no proof that they were from Visa. Contacted my bank just in case, and they confirmed it sounded like a scam. Very sophisticated, which is why I'm taking the time to type this now :)

Weird voicemail left me all in Mandarin ?? dunno who they think they are calling ... esp. with an anglo surname like mine? Suspect bloody scammers

Scam caller changing script from last week.

Caller was Indian call centre saying they were from "Visa and Mastercard Security Division" - which would be very unlikely that both companies would be combined. Reporting a $2k transaction that was made to someone I didn't know. They then had my name wrong, so the red flags kept flowing. Once I said they had my name wrong... click!

Caller: Experian

Trash call that when called back said we're directing you through to Experian. I hung up.

Caller: 0488 875 469

Claimed to be from Visa and that there were 2 potentially fraudulent charges. I hung up. SCAM!!

Caller: Telstra

Call from this number claiming to be Telstra. Long delay in connection, heavy Indian (?) accent. Asked for proof / verification they were from Telstra, she got rather annoyed and very persistent about her reason for calling; there are multiple devices accessing my server. Insisted on verification, she spoke over the top of me, I hung up.

Told me my phone service would be out in 2 hours and I should choose a number for further instructions - English and Chinese. Ha! who are they kidding!

Had exactly the same few mins ago, blocked and reported

Just received a phone call from this number but didn't answer. It went through to my message bank and when I listened to it, it was a lady speaking Chinese so I deleted the call and also blocked it. Just another scam.

My wonderful Telstra network on my Samsung tagged this as potentially dangerous spam so I nlocked it and deleted it!!!!!!

Caller: Didn't catch the name

Told me my phone service would be getting shut down in 2hrs. I always press 1 and tell them to remove me from their scam list, but it hung up and soon as I selectd 1.

Caller: Scam

Didn’t answer. Left voicemail. Was telling me to press numbers however it was in Chinese so didn’t know what I was pressing for!! Scam.

They left a message, that was in CHINESE

Caller: Didn’t bother calling it back after I read this content

Many many times i had this number keep ringing me so it was straight to block list.. who' called me this freaking hours is not even business hour. Pretend to be Nab that I don't have even Nab. . Red flag.

Didn't answer the call but when called back, auto message said Welcome to Esperian and to hold while being re-directed. Hung up.

Claimed to be from Mastercard. Clearly a scam. I do not have a Mastercard!
