Rang me 3 times in a single afternoon. The final call a voice message asked me to stay on the line until an operator returned. It was an overseas recorded voice so I simply hung up on messagebank.

This number has rung several times a day for the last 3 days.
Today I finally answer it to a thick Indian accented male who told me that this was not a telemarketing call but it was an important call about Jetstar..yeah, I hung up..
My daughter has just answered the phone and all they did was hung up..
Reporting the number to Telstra as a nuisance caller.

Caller: Sounded as if he was from India

Called abou 5:30 pm on 7 Feb. Caller claimed he was NDIS.

Didn't answer. not in my contacts. Must be a scam accourding to all the comments.

Has called 6 times today (so far), nobody on the other end then hangs up.

Caller ID is great! My landline rings differently if it's a known number & my call blocker is getting a workout these days. It's about time Telco's & the government puts a stop to these scammers!!!
Only costs a dollar for a bullet!!!
