Australian sounding pre-recorded message, trying to sell me wine. Very slick voice recognition programming, because when I kept saying "Do not call this number again" the script would say some variation of "I'm sorry about that, but, I'd hate for you to miss this amazing offer of a dozen Cab Sav for $X." Even when I said "Put me through to a human operator" the script said "I'm really a human, I suppose I should be flattered. But, before you go, can I tempt you with some cheap, premium sparkling whites, perfect for any..." Eventually it hung up on me. I have no idea why I'm getting called, I can only assume it's a robo-call.

received call from 0480 004 990 & 0488 859 758, checked them up here and well, they are the annoying calls you don't want to receive or hear... I have on my phone Filters to silence calls from unknown callers...

I received a call from ‘James from Wine Group’ at 9am on Wednesday morning (a tad inappropriate!) attempting to sell me a case of wine. He was very pleasant sounding and persuasive, obviously using a well practiced script. Very persistent and kept trying to push the sale by offering a ´better deal’ each time.
Eventually I got annoyed and had to politely cut him off to end the call.

I block every number that is not in my contacts that stopped them

They keep calling me. It's getting really frustrating. They asked me to pay for wine with Bitcoin. WTF! That's ridiculous. I keep blocking them, they call me with another number. All numbers start with 0488

Every freaking day I get a call. And the number differs. “James from the wine group”. They do not give up. I had a break from them for about a month and now it’s started again.

Apparently this mob has been fined $200k last month and they still bombard us with phone calls, what part of f**k off don’t you understand???

Very annoying caller, keep changing numbers.

Why do we pay taxes for the ACMA and they do nothing to fine, jail and shut down this scum?

'James' or whoever it really is gets around and on multiple numbers. Unsolicited, nuisance call trying to sell wine. Got a call the previous day from 0488 859 740, and a call a few days before that from 0480 004 541. This is on top of several other calls to my mobile in the weeks before and calls to my landline.
