Female with very heavy Indian accent advising she was from Legal Assist. stated I'd had an accident. No thanks! Hung up & blocked the number

Called yesterday and today, 16 and 17 Dec 2020. I didn't answer. No message left. If a call isn't important enough for them to leave a message then I'm not going to waste my time returning the call

Missed a call from this number.. returned the call and she proceeded to my number was passed on after I was in a accident a little while ago..
Funny thing is I've only had my license for 3-4 years and never been in a accident.. I called her a bullsh*t scam artist, to stop scamming people and to lose my number which she hung up rather quickly.

Called me asking if myself or my partner had been in an accident and tried to sell insurance. I hung up as she was difficult to understand and it sounded dodge.

Indian Female. Heavy accent. Said it was a courtesy call to ask if I’d been in an accident in the last 2 years.... Blocked the number

Caller: Legal Assist Group

Took awhile for the call to connect. I then had a lady with an accent named "Rosie" on the line & she said she was from LAG & was calling me about an accident I had recently. I said "good one, nice try"... she was then speechless & started stuttering. I laugh and said "yeah no scam happening on me today" I then politely said good bye & hung up.

Hung up the moment I answered

Woman caller with a foreign accent said she was a legal aid representative and my number had been given to them as I was involved in a recent accident. Asked me to confirm and when I denied it they asked if anyone I knew had been in an accident. Also denied this and they said thank you and have a nice day. Reading these posts I guess they are trying a different tact to get our hard earned $$$

Scam trying to ask about my superannuation

Missed call, I callEd back ， the person said my super fund insurance policy has changed, she needs to ask few questions. I said I reject answer any question via phone until you can identify yourself, as you called from mobile number! I ask her which super fund I m with？she does not know it at all. Keep on telling me answer her question. I said send email to me, she said after the few questions she will. I said did not receive any official letter/ email from my superfund, reject to answer her Q, then she said then can not help me ! What a joke! I do not need her help at all!

SCAM

They rang me twice yesterday and once again today. Tried to return call but number not recognised.

Caller: I don’t know

Called to sell stock trading report subscription. I said I’m into work hours and not interested. Repeat daily calls. I have now blocked the caller.

Ignored the call and then called back the number only to hear "Optus advises that the number you have called has been disconnected". Obviously dodgy. Have blocked.
