Missed a call, no voicemail. Called back: couldn’t be connected... Blocked!

Caller: This number and many others the same like it, but different last 3 numbers

I have been getting non stop called by numbers like these ‭0488 859 347‬ ‭ 0488 860 238‬ And so on.

Hung up as soon as I answered, messaged no reply

Trying to sell me wine. Very pushy and don’t take no for an answer.

Called me today. Asking for a Jenifer which isnt my name. But went on to claiming the are raising money for RSL's for charity by running a lottery for $1 a day. For a chance to win $1000 every week. This is the second number thats called me with same intro. Scam call. Number blocked

There raising money for some rsl thing, They have called me 5 times today of different numbers knowing my name

They claim there is a large prize (property in QLD) to be won to help the veterans, for a small price of signing up for a direct debit. Seems like a scam. Also knew my name

Called but did not say a word. I hung up

Keep on getting calls from 0488 mobile numbers, which I ignore, never leave messages, getting 2 a day. Would like to see the number supplier of 0488 mobile numbers to investigate these scam calls.

I’ve had the same experience as others, calls many times per day /week and on similar numbers. However no one there, no one speaks just bloody time wasters.
I don’t answer anymore in case a voice recognition scam thing!

Someone or other called up, saying they were for the RSL Art Lottery, or something along those lines. Played the game, asking me if I knew any army vets personally, saying the government isn't being particularly kind to them. When they asked me if I'd seen their ads on TV, I played along, and she joked "haha yeah, can miss them sometimes between the COVID and the election haha".

She seemed to only want my name (although strangely, she already knew that), and my email so she could. But I reckon she would've hunted for more off me if I hadn't cut her off. Anyway, even if it is a legit call, feels pretty sketchy, and the girl was doing a lot of fake laughter on the other end. The line also seemed pretty scratchy, so I'm not entirely unconvinced they weren't calling through a computer. Not a fan, and even if I believed it were a genuine thing, it'd put me off wanting to buy a ticket. Blocked.

Had another call last week, guy wanting money for the RSL! Super friendly, glad to know it was now a scam.

Had a call today from this guy. He said he is from RSL and that this call is being monitored.He called me by my first name. He asked me if I worked today or am not working and if I had a good day. When I asked him what is this phone call in regards to?, he hung up om me. I tried to call back later and it say the number is disconnected.
His number was 0488 860 211

A lady was on the other line, sounded really nice, they asked for my Mum, handed Mum the phone, and they asked for money for ISIS? Hackers/scammers for sure.

Called and asked if I had heard of the rsl union.
She sounded like she was giggling so I asked her what was funny. Her response was nothing and I asked to be taken off their calling list.

As above, just block the number and move on.

Hung up as soon as answer. Calling daily.

Did not leave a message. And I missed a call yesterday with a similar number it was 0488 859 970.
