Caller: Likely IT scammer

Phoned number back from a private line & no answer. Found NSW Police post on FB Dec 2020 Re various phone numbers starting with 0488 part of IT scam doing the rounds. Comments from 2022 confirm the same. Blocked

Rang relentlessly so eventually I answered. Says they are calling about a tax incentive if I’m the home owner so I hung up if they don’t even know that info they can’t be legit!

Heavily accented female voice claiming to be wanting to update me on how to save money on taxes in NSW. Hung up abruptly once I told her I am not from NSW. Obviously a scam. Blocked number.

This number is relentless. It has called me 5 times in 4 days. Called it back from private number and it hangs up upon answering.
