Almost any number beginning 04888 will be this nefarious caller. The trailing numbers change daily and they ring late Morning and mid afternoon.

I called back the number 0488 844 315 but the phone just kept ringing

It tried to call me too who is it and thanks for letting ppl know

Like others on here I suspect a scammer probing .. don’t answer.

They hung up after approx. 6 rings, scam I guess.

This number called me too 30-Mar-2020 noon time. As soon as I answer, it almost instantaneously hang-up. I didn't call back, but seeing your post, I'm almost certain this number is up to no good.
