Caller: Charity fundraisers for RSPCA

Already donate through my pet insurance with rspca, don’t appreciate a call asking for more money

All complaints are old, but I have been getting call from this no these days and did not pick up, thinking that it’s a scam.

Have called me a few times, the first time I answered but didn't say anything. Was a male voice and a british accent I think. He knew my name and was saying like "Hi is this **". "Are you there?" When I called back it was an automated message saying something along the line of one of our partnered charities have tried calling you, you don't need to take action as they will call you back. When I texted no response.

They have rung three times today (12 Feb 25) The first time I answered and got the impression they, a male voice, were asking for money - they knew my name - the other two times I didn't answer - thank you everyone else for reporting, it is helpful

Said they were calling on behalf of amnesty international. My phone said it was scam - won't answer again

This number at 0488 837 655 has been calling me twice a day for many weeks. No voice message or text left. It constantly calls me and I never answer.
I’m glad to seeing some people happening same things from the number. So annoyed. I just blocked it.

Sends fake msgs, then I try to call and constantly engaged. Thinking it's a telemarketer or spam caller

Most of these comments are old but it’s still happening September 2025I.I’ve been getting calls from three different versions of this number for the last three days. No message ever left and every time I check here it’s for Amnesty International who I don’t believe actually do cold calling for donations.
I just keep blocking them

Telstra warning about suspicious calling pattern

I have received 8 calls this week from this number, they call in the morning and again in the afternoon; the caller never leaves a message. I do not answer calls from unknown numbers; I do not know who they are. I have blocked this number as I think it is a scam.

Called three times, hung up instantly when I answered

Call from this number - answered as I was expecting a call from someone else - they hung up as soon as I answered. Thanks for the comments, I will block this number too.

Called, left no message

Yep 0488 837 655 has been calling me daily for the past 3 days, sometimes 2x a day and last week 0488 829 283 tried for a few days as well. I’ve never answered though as I don’t know the number and they never leave a message

Had 8 calls from this number in the past 2 weeks.I answered none of them.

Donate? Isn't your money to the RSPCA just to insure your pet?
