receiving frequent calls - unanswered and no message left - nuisance

Have been getting call from 0488 831 729 now for a couple of weeks. Rings for about 2 to 3 rings then hangs up. No message left. Its is a nuisance.

Has called multiple times with no message. I answered the call with a text-to-speech function, asking why they were calling. The caller replied saying, "They were from Tangerine and I was eligible for a free internet speed upgrade." I am a Tangerine customer but am still suspicious as they did have a large data breach in 2024, and it's not common practice for them to ring me. I ended the call with a text reply saying I would call back later and hung up. It's best I contact my ISP directly and ask if this is true.

I've had the number blocked for at least a month, I have 2-3 missed calls a day for that entire time. The ones I answered before claimed to be Tangerine, this has only happened since the Tangerine data breach and I'm not a current customer, so definitely a scam

It is genuinely Tangerine, although their methods of contacting is not optimal. They called me once, I said email me everything. They hadn't, and called me again. But this time I told them over the phone to upgrade to the latest bundle (6 months no extra charge). They did that and I got an email from Tangerine saying the plan change was complete.

Been getting 2-3 calls a day all unanswered I have them on block the weirdest thing is they call at the same time everyday

Has been calling me almost every day for two weeks. Will call, hang up without leaving a message, and often call back a few minutes later.

THIS IS A SCAM.
Claiming to be from Tangerine offering me free faster internet. When I agreed they wanted to "Confirm my details" and get all my information. Yeah right!

Keeps calling. No message left. Hangs up on answering.

same this number constantly calls even on weekends etc it's a nuisance

I got this number calling me twice today. Rang for a few seconds and then hang up. Identical tactics as above mentioned. No message left. Will be blocking the number

Called a couple of times, left no message

This number has called my mobile on 9 occasions (2 times per day) over the past month. Same as others have mentioned, they ring for a few seconds and no message is left then they try again about 10 minutes later. I plan to block the number.
