Surprised that asked for me by name and said it was about my electricity. Doubtful my provider as they always write. I get so many mainly from Victoria landline nos. (03) re electricity that I say not interested and hang up, as I did with this mob.

Scam call, can hear the blip of their system connecting after a few seconds of nothing.

0488 831 044 has been listed in the Australia Reverse Phone Scam as a scammer, they rang me several times today and left no message.

Hi I've given up answering, as it only wastes my time which is far too valuable. If they don't leave a message they are not genuine. Block # & take your life back.

Indian guy, won't stop calling me but I told him he sounds poor and stinky and he hung up so maybe try that

called me like 5 times today. i answered once and they didn’t say anything for a few seconds. heard a small ‘blip’ from their part before the call cut.. i read a few comments about them asking for people by name so i blocked them

They called me twice and I answered on the 2nd time, stating something about my electricity and was able to rattle off an old address. They stated I had a credit on my account and they constantly asking for my new address, I refused to give them the information. I asked if this was a scam and they said no and they wouldn't ask for personal details, however continued to ask for my new address. I said if I had a credit the company can email me. They became rude and told me to stop talking over them, while I was ending the phone call, they hung up before I could.

Called me but phone automatically filtered to spam and blocked

Asked them to call me back at 7pm, called every 10-15min after 6pm…. Can’t even google the time zone they are calling

They are fake callers about electricity, They know your name. Just hangup the call

called me with very loud background noise with strong accent. I asked her to repeat where she call from and saying I cannot hear her voice clearly, she hung up with an upset tone.

Rang regarding electricity account but when told them not to record they hung up how cool

this number called me, and didn't answer, it sounded like someone using a really bad voice changer, and asked how I was doing, I said i'm doing ok and then they hung up immediately which suggests they might try to use the snippet of my voice to commit identity fraud or in other scams

Knew my name & wanted to talk to me about my electricity account…. I don’t have an electricity account under my name. I told them that & asked to be taken off their call list.
