Some lady for the supposed Advisory Network trying to find out if I was eligible for Government rebates. Requesting personal information such as income, work status, home ownership, my wife name... Ended call stating I preferred not to answer personal questions such as these (especially about my wife).

Caller: "The Advisory Network"

Rang my private number ... said they got it from a database. A woman rang on two occasions. Voice sounded like a local. Was asking my employment type, whether I am part-time or full-time and what my yearly income is. I politely declined to continue once they asked my yearly income is. They were saying they were helping people to maximise their pension or something ... not really able to explain, evasive as to who they were but that they were not the government ... became rather pushy with firing personal questions at me as above.

A nice lady who I think wanted to check I was getting all the rebates I was entitled to. I asked for my number to be removed from their list and she agreed to do that. But I have blocked the number anyway.

Spam caller

Caller: Someone named Phillip

Someone called Phillip with an Australian accent called saying he's from a kind of debt collector company. A scam.

I answered the phone, but no sound, but car sound.. I called back with no caller ID,
but the number is not connected. Suspeciou. I blocked the number

Called me 5 times today alone... I don’t want to answer

A lady called from Advisory Network regards to Government rebates.
She was requesting my personal information such as working hours, work from home options etc.
I have hand up the call and block this number.
Unsure if this is scam or not, prefer not to speak to someone over the phone for personal info.

Older Male called
said he was part of the Government incentive scheme to help Australians in their Retirement.
To see if I was eligible for the Grant
He Requested a small amount of $250 and needed access to my full details of emails centrelink number and bank details.

Did not give any information.
stated that they are a scam.
requested them to remove my number
never to call again.
and hung up.

Caller: The Advisory Network "Janine"

Called offering Government Incentives, gave their physical address as 1 Eagle Street, Brisbane. Took details of name, spouses name, incomes, ages, mortgages and financial goals. Said if we qualify we'd get a call in a day or two from their senior assessor.

"They said I may be eligible for a government incentive to set me up for the future. Asked me name, age, value of house, income, occupation, savings etc. They said I would get a call back if I qualify but can’t find anything on the internet about them, so probably shouldn’t have given them info. Will be asking more questions if they call back."

Number not known to me so I ket it ring out. No voicemail left either.
