Keep getting calls from this number (sometimes a different number but always the same company), calling themselves Information Australia. Even after telling them the last time I wasn't interested, still keep getting the calls. Supposedly they want information to see if you would be eligible for rebates or such from the government (when I asked what they want they just kept saying that too many people don't know what they are entitled to). Asked if there was a website I could go to see who they were and apparently not. Don't know what the goal is.

They ring and then dont speak, wait a bit then hang up annoying !

Constant calls from this number 4 to 5 times a day.

All hours of the day, I don't answer.

This is a scam. Same information asked as per other comments - I provided all false information - they accepted and said they would come back to me. I tried to call back on same mobile but number blocked.

Thanks to previous comments this # came up as spam.
I did not answer, and surprise surprise, no voicemail message was left.

These are scammers and they will try to get information piece by piece.... and then they will try to break into your accounts.... SO BE AWARE....

supposedly wanted to talk to me about eligibility for tax credits

A man wanting to know if I was 'eligible' for some tax incentives who said he wasn't selling anything. He said "You have to be working". They ask questions. I said I don't want to answer any questions.

missed call from 0488 828 591 called back and instantly answered. person identified themselves as being from Information Australia. person answering was different from person whom had left a message.
