Spam caller saying that you have entered a competition when you really haven't.

Number has called several times then hangs up when I answer call

hung up as I answered!

Caller: missed the name

Multiple calls a day.
Finally I rang them back
They say they got your name because you may have entered a competition in the past.
Asked if I was home owner and had mortgage.
When I said not really interested the replied was just going to invite you to a meeting at local motel to show you how to pay of mortgage sooner. I then hung up. Suggest blocking this caller.

Yelled something as I answered and then hung up. Won’t reply to text asking who it is.

Advised that I entered a competition back in 2014 .... Good news..... you've won a............ Congratulations!!!
Before he got too further into the conversation, told him I wasn't interested and it was odd that he is ringing me now to a competition that I was supposed to have entered 4 years ago!!! If it was legit I am sure it would already have been drawn.

Caller: Omnia Group

Saying you have won something from a competition or a survey from an entry 12 to 18 months ago.
They had my name, so i assume they may have got details from a competition or a survey as she suggested. She said it would have been from Coles, Woolworths, Bunnings, Myer, BigW or BWS.
However this is just a scam to sell their products. Omnia are a finance group.
To win the supposed prize they will require personal details to be confirmed and require over 30m of your time which i would guess is in relation to their services. Wasn't prepared to go along with it so i declined their offer and didn't confirm any details they may have had.

Lady called asking for a “mark”, I don’t know a mark and wouldn’t give me her name. Her tone of voice wasn’t nice. And refused to give me any details to why she was calling
