Constantly call trying to sell raffle tickets

My husband bought tickets last year as he felt guilty if he didn't. So now they keep ringing constantly. There's only so much you can give. And if you donate to one, your number is flagged, so you are inundated by every charity known to man. This is what puts people off donating at all.

Claim to be selling tickets for kids with cancer - asked where they got my number - hung up

Unknown person from a call centre. Waited for me to sally hello and then a pause before they hung up. Stinks of scammers.

Caller: Kids with cancer telemarketers

They call and hang up daily or they say smart ass comments when I say I am unable to support them and just plain rude. I’ve blocked the number but they seem to get through anyway. Sick of it. I’ve asked for my number to be removed but they still call me.

How do you actually block them. I've selected add to auto reject list but the numbers still get through.

I did not know the number so did not answer,they did not leave a message on message bank so they must be scammers.

Only way to stop calls is to block on your mobile.

I donated once to this charity maybe 2 years ago - Big Mistake! I received constant calls from them to donate. I told them i'm not interested in donating to them ever again because of the persistant caIls. I asked them to take me off their call list which they said they did but somehow they keep calling back. This is extremely frustrating that they just keep calling!

Keeps calling every day. Have not answered call

Got a call from 0488 828 020 via my mobile, when I answered they didn't respond when I said hello, it was quiet and then they hung up, then within minutes got a call on my landline from Kids with Cancer, for once it wasn't an Indian (she sounded like she was from England) she said her name was Abby and she was calling for Kids with Cancer, I advised her that I am barely able to pay my bills let alone donate to a charity and could she please remove my name from her list she said that she would and thanked me for my time.
I hate that these charities are exempt from the Do Not Call register, it doesn't seem fair that we can get bombarded with calls from them and nothing happens.
If they call again I will do a formal complaint on their website www.kidswithcancer.org.au/‎

"Do not call" register doesn't apply to charities or politicians!

Kids with Cancer use telemarketers and no matter how many times I have asked them to stop calling, they still do. I’ve spoken with their head office fund raising manager more than 6 mths ago who promised I’d be taken off calling lists - they still call!

Yet another call from this number - woke me this time, so I've blocked it. I did call back to find out who it was - they're selling raffle tickets for Kids With Cancer or something (and going about it the wrong way).
