Yet another call added to my “blocked callers” list ...this list is actually getting longer than my contacts :D

When I answered they just laughed loudly and hung up after 7 seconds.

Number 0488 824 420 is set so you cannot call back. I tried to call back 5-6 times.. all it does is just disconnect

Thanks for your advice - I missed a call from the same number yesterday and won't worry about it being important now. To be sure, I had tried calling them just now using private landline, but line was engaged (usual case with scammers/telesales etc)

There have been recent warnings about answering or returning these calls using your mobile. Apparently they may be part of a scam that connects you thru to an oversees number/service that has high $ per min charge and they skim the profits somehow.

Will use my phone settings to block it and hope that sees the end of it ;)

i just had the exact same call from the same number, same alleged company asking if i was the hoe owner in my suburb. i told him wrong number an hung up

SPAM. Calls multiple times even though blocked. Never leaves a message. Very annoying.

Woman called and asked me if I was the homeowner at my address.. I answered yes and then immediately asked to be removed from the calling list. The woman became instantly aggressive and rude telling me I didn’t know what she was calling for and I should listen to her.. I politely repeated my request and told her I don’t entertain unsolicited calls from telemarketers.. she accused me of being rude and hung up on me.
