Caller: Scam caller

Saying they are from Australian bureau of statistics told them to F##K O##! they knew my name but where trying to get information from me !!

28/722 I have them blocked but they still try and call.

This number called me on my work and personal number and pretended to be from a recruiter. I called the recruiter, they have no record of that employee or the director he is calling on behalf of "Jullian". They must have used linken in for my career history, but my work number isnt on file with the recruiting company.

Have rung me 3 times now this week. No messages. Reading comments from others, I'm now blocking them.

Call from this number saying they were from Knox city council

As soon as I said hello they hung up

As per the previous responses. Said they were from the ABS had my name, asked if I was between 25 and 55, asked my marital status, asked how long I had lived in my local area. When I hesitated they hung up.

It came up on my mobile screen as a suspected scam caller. Well done Telstra, it is about time you started protecting your customers from this crap.

Some random wanted to survey

Saying from beaurau of statistics. Wanted to know my age and my marital status.

Same here. f*cking scammers

Caller: Fraud - says they are from the Australia Bureau of Statistics

Definitely fraud.
Said they were from the "ABS", then explained what that was.
Asked if he could ask me 4 survey questions. I knew it was not the actual ABS (government never use their acronym first, nor would they call from a mobile) but was curious to see what the questions would be. He asked if was I between 35-55, my gender and whether I work full time or part time, but hung up as he was asking the 4th question.

They said they were from Maroondah city council. I said I hadn’t lived there for 30 years. They started asking questions ‘have you been overseas in last 7 years?’ I asked what this was for and why I would be asked that and they hung up. Blocked

No idea who this is from. As soon as I asked “what’s this about” they hung up. Now blocked.
