Had my full name somehow - including middle name. How do these people get this information? Asked to speak to me about an 'important business matter'. Refused to tell me how they got my name and number, told me I had to identify myself first. THEY RANG ME, but asked ME to identify myself. Are they Serious???

Answered call and caller asked if I was (insert name here). I replied "who is this?" Caller said "my name is Brian and i work for a company in Brisbane. I asked what company? his response was "a company in Brisbane". My reply was if you can't even name a company then sorry f*ck off.

Caller: They won’t identify themselves

They ring all the time . Hang up and don’t leave a message so you know it’s a scam. I’m expecting a call from my internet provider so I answered. There’s a time delay and click so it’s an overseas transfer. I said ,” identity yourself or I’ll block you as spam”. A South African male said sorry why. I repeated myself . He didn’t identify himself or for whom he worked …” just started in with “ I can tell you it’s definitely not a scam …” so I hung up. A legitimate person and / or company would identify as such. Blocked

Missed a call just half an hour ago or so. I called back and was met with a guy who gave what may have been his actual name. When I said I missed a call he said he could put me through (figure out who called). He asked for a customer reference number I think (lots of traffic nearby so I couldn’t hear too well). I asked where I had called and received a place that sounded unfamiliar so we both agreed not to worry and the call ended there. Friendly but weird.
