Scammer - when you call the number back it says 'disconnected'

The current holder of this number is PIVOTEL SATELLITE PTY LIMITED. Scammers are now frequently using satellite phone numbers to try to get around the blocking measures that have been put in place. Who do you know who would be calling you from a satellite phone? These pests will always find new ways to get through to you. I just reject all calls from numbers that I do not recognise.

Told me they were 'from the government' and helping get home owners to never paying for electricity again with a $3000 rebate. Just don't answer and block

I hope Telstra realise that one of their own employees is feeding scammers unused numbers. Take it from me [ 50 years in coms ] I know when someone has control of the exchange ports to assign numbers - and when they immediately remove the number before someone rings them back - it saves scammers time cycling through all numbers to get the unused messages to use.

If you DO NOT leave a voice mail message, then you call will be ignored and number deleted
