Scam supposedly from ACC Australian comparison Company. Definite scam / fishing number,demanding my full name as soon as I answered

Rings constantly, I never pick up they never leave a message. ???? annoying.

Unsolicited number. This one has called twice and is now blocked. Other variants calling of late all start with 048597xxxx

Called multiple times a day for a week and when answered they didn’t say anything. If you waited over 2 mins without saying anything you can hear something connecting to the call and breathing. Assuming it’s a scam or telemarketer

Called, I answer no response they hang up. Called back, no buisness name just says to leave a message after being on hold for ages. Scam I'd say.

I could not find a website for the company. Lots of chatter in the background, so presuming this is a call centre. Male voice offering a better deal on my energy provider. Told him I was very happy with my provider and if I need to look for a better deal I will call them direct. Caller tried to assure me his call wasn't about switching companies, but securing a better deal with my current provider and was very quick to talk on two occasions when I said I will call my provider direct. Obviously playing on human nature guilt of hanging up on a person when they are mid sentence. On the third time he hung up on me before I could hang up on him - haha!

I received multiple calls from this number and other claimed they are from "compare your energy". after told them no need for their services, they keep calling every hour after that !

They wanted to compare and save electricity cost - definitely sounded like a scam - I blocked them - they have been calling 3 times per day for the last 4 days....
