NuPath at Varsity Lakes, Queensland Part of Gold Coast (Scammer Haven). Female on phone claimed to have my details from a 'lifestyle survey'. All nonsense. They get our information that is on sold by 3rd and 4th parties. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION and asked to be taken off their database. I have lodged their details with ACMA, ACCC & ASIO. If they persist on calling, ask them the source of their database. Their way of introducing themselves to clients is unprofessional.

Caller: "Elizabeth" from NuPath

"Elizabeth" from NuPath in Varsity Lakes (sounds like 'New Pass'). Had a gap in the connection after I answered, I had to say hello twice. Offered to help me refinance a home loan. I asked how they came to my number and to call me today and was told I either filled out a survey or completed an enquiry online about a home loan. Further probing revealed they scrape details from those forms. I told them to remove my number and not sell or share my details.

Looking to get people to change their mortgage over.

Came up spam, didn't answer

Caller: 0485 934 612

Didn’t answer as a lot of spam calls come from 0485 numbers. Seems I assumed correctly.

Caller: Callum Brennan

Callum called me from NuPath claiming to have got my number from a friend about my mortgage that I don't have.
I asked what their ABN was as I have a few million in a Lithuanian bank that I need washed, little Callum was speechless but this ended the call quickly. 👌🤣

Unauthorised Caller. No message left - therefore scam. Blocked and Deleted.
I simply do not bother answering numbers not in my records. 100% of them are scams and have been provided my confidential details without permission or consent.
The problem will simply escalate as the Privacy Act is deliberately left protecting almost nothing.

Called saying I'm paying off a mortgage - cut her off .... I haven't had a mortgage in years

My phone showed this as spam so I didn’t answer it

Unknown caller - just muffled noise on voicemail - may be part of scam tactics to get you to call back

Caller: Didn’t identify themselves

Lady with strong English accent asking for me by my previous name( changed a decade ago). told her that I didn’t know the person she was looking for. She said must be wrong number and hung up. Figured it was a scam call from that. Glad to see I was right.

The lady's first line was: Do you have a home loan? It's just weird enough for me to say anything regarding the loan, I'll call my broker!

Lynn from NuPath?? Didn’t catch her name or “company” just that the “company” is based at Robina. Trying to ask me about a competition or expression of interest email id completed about home loans. Couldn’t tell me where my info came from (a survey, competition or EOI) and got really flustered and cranky when I asked when I completed the survey EOI etc.

Was kind enough to suggest that an investigation can be done by the company they get their info from. Yes please Lynn from wherever. Please do an investigation ya bloody scammer!😂

Elizabeth from NuPath in Robina QLD called. Flogging some info about investment property. Reporting to ACMA as harassment for unsolicited advice.

They tried calling 3 times in a row

I concur with feedback from TH on 1 May 2024 asked twice to confirm caller business & sounds like “New Pass” not NuPath (missed caller name) I had same delay for it connecting also. I was heading into appt, & said didn’t know what call was about (after they also mentioned something about a mortgage & filling in some form) & wanted to be removed from their list. They agreed. Wouldn’t be surprised if got call in future but blocked number
