It's a mass sms mailout which is illegal for everyone else except politicians.
Apparently they are the only exception.

Wanting to know if I would vote for ALP in Dunkley by-election. Won’t take no for an answer. Let us see if they are still of the same mind when they are voted out early on 2024.

My local Vic Federal MP has sadly passed away from cancer while in office. the memorial was just held two days ago and I get a text from this number to say that due to this, a by election will be held early next year and which political party would I vote for if it was today?
