Caller: Bureau of statistics?

Called claiming to be from the Bureau of Statistics. I politely said I could not take this call because I was in work, she abruptly hung up. Very rude - SCAM!

They were calling from Indian call center.. Told me were calling from Commonwealth bank.. Asking for a
Varidication code.. If I would have given the code there would be a $800 taken away from my account.. Be careful with these types of calls..

The number you have called is not available from this service, is the response I got. I do not answer any unknown caller, so many scammers

didn't call, just sent a text message to say i missed their call and a number to call back.

Calls then hangs up! Scammers who tries to hit on probably okd people so when you sound youngish they hang up straight away

Very similar number to another unsolicited caller from 0485 883 132 which makes me suspicious.

Said they were calling from my local council. Could hardly understand under her thick asian accent. I asked for details and she hung up. I called back and the number apparently doesn't exist ........... SCAMMERS

Another caller who does not leave a message. Why would you bother phoning back ? number is now blocked
