Pause after answering, indian call centre, hung up before I could hear their scam

Multiple calls from similar numbers over past few days: 0485 869 445 & 0485 869 447. Don't know the number & didn't leave a message. Blocked.

Called but I didn't answer, will be blocking

Amazon scammer

Caller: PayPal ???

Pretended to be from PayPal saying someone bought gift cards of $700 with funds from my PayPal account and asked me to open their email and type in the security code so they could reset my password. I don’t have any money in a PayPal because I don’t have a PayPal account. Scamming bastards. Then he hung up on me when I asked him questions.

Caller: Alleged he was from the australian cyber security department

Caller was asked for his ID within Cyber Security he stated CR103AU208 and gave his name as John Jarvis. When asked for further confirmation of his claim he hung up.

Says i have a pending Amazon order. That they will put on hold. I dont use Amazon

Caller said they were from New South Wales services, when ask which service they didn’t have an answer, it was an Indian lady she then said that someone was using my nsw license on a Telstra account, when I said well that’s strange as I don’t have a Telstra account nor do I live in nsw, 🤣🤣🤣

Caller knew my name and said they were from PayPal. Obvious scam

Caller: Said they were from the NAB about a transfer I made to someone e in the USA but I don’t have a nab account . They used my name when I answered the call. I hung up.

0485 869 445 I didn't answer because my phone showed it has been reported as fraud. Caller didn't leave a message on message bank. So cannot be important. Blocked the number.

Received missed call from 0485 869 445 this afternoon—they didn’t leave a message. Second missed call from (most likely) scam number today.

Caller: Scam Call Centre. India location

My.phone said it was an INCOMING SPAM CALL. I answered and they hung up.

I rang back, call wouldn't even connect, it was like complete silence.

Number is already reported as a fraudulent number so didnt answer. These stupid scams are just a absolute joke get a real job losers.

I send an automated txt asking them to please text me - if they don't - pretty much guarantee its scam, telemarketer etc.
Lots of them all start with 0485

Foreign man stating that I am being overcharged for my internet data. He already had my name and began fishing for my account details which I wouldn't reveal. I let him dig a big hole for himself which made him very angry. I told him he was a fraudster. He swore at me so I hung up.

Reportedly to be from Telstra. Hung up when I questioned how the phone number was connected to the IP address.

Caller: I didn't give them anytime to speak

I terminated this incoming call as soon as I heard call centre background chatter.

SCAM!!!! Do not give them ANY information. Indian accent said he was from Visa and that there had been fraudulent activity of a $900 transaction to a New Zealand man, someone Miller. Said they hadn't taken the money out of my account yet as they were holding the transaction until they could verify with me. I became suspicious when he asked what bank I was with. Transferred me to another Indian girl who said she was from NAB and after my questioning as to whether they were legit she starts hollering at me down the phone that 'WE ARE RECORDING THIS CALL AND ARE DEFINITLEY FROM NAB'. I told her I didn't appreciate her tone and that I'd call NAB myself. Called NAB and they said there were no signs of fraudulent activity on my account and it was most definitely a scam. Always question them and trust your gut feeling!!!
