I received two scam calls nine minutes apart, around 7 PM. The first call came from 0485 855 480, and the second from (03) 4252 8806. These numbers are likely connected. I didn't answer the calls; instead, I checked the numbers on a website and saw that others had complained about them.

Bloody pests blocked

Just received call from this number. No one on the other end. Number blocked.

Rang and no answer. Rang back and it tells me the number is not connected. Blocked as a scammer.

Rang left no message. I didn't answer either. My phone service provider marked it as a spam call.

Caller: Indicated finance/loan business

Called and said he was offering small loans at low rates

the 1st in 5 calls in 5 days from numbers starting 0485 85..., which is the way scammers usually work - buy a group of numbers then bombard you from them. And of course they didn't leave a message

Recorded message thanking for contacting "customer service" without specifying whose customer service it is. Message on requesting you to press various digits for different, very generic, services. An obvious fraud. Number blocked.
