Message was "Hi dad. My phone just broke. So you can delete that number and save this one." None of my children sent it. I called it twice, no answer either time.
Received via Whatsapp and reported and blocked

Scam. Sent q message to my mum saying I had a new phone and number and to delete my old number.

JUST REC'D THE SAME MSG, I answered back said need more info, reply was "your eldest child LOL. deleted and blocked, as I rec'd a SMS msg from my eldest child, only 2 mins before for a completely different matter.

Got the same message except mine was Hi Mum from 0485 833 857. Sent back an sms
