Caller: The Wine Group

They Called themselves "The Wine Group" this time but they are also know as Oak Road Estate or Top Drop.
"The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) ordered The Wine Group to pay $204,240 in infringement notices for breaching multiple spam and telemarketing laws."
Twice i have asked them to take me off their call lists now, 3rd time i will also be making a complaint to the ACMA & and the ACCC

MANY calls (up to six per day) over the past weeks from very similar numbers, variation being the last three digits, so reporting here as must assume that is either more unwanted callcentres or SCAMMERS !!! Would recommend others to report here to get the attention of our govts and telcos, and eradicate these nuisances.

They hung up as soon as I answered. Have been pestered by many spam calls lately so I presume this is also spam

NB: that this is an automated voice process to get you to buy wine & that Jeff, John, Matt &/or Luke calling you ALL have the same voice. Made the mistake of buying a dozen bottles of wine over 2 weeks ago, which haven’t arrived. Extremely difficult to get to talk to a person but if you’re persistent & make call after call you will finally get a real person for what good it does you! Don’t buy from this dodgy company.

Saying they have massive sales on wines. more than 80% off. Ask how is my wine stock level.
I told him, I don't drink.

The guy said he is Jeff from "The Wine Group", very pushy to sell wine even after I said no to him.

Multiple calls from similar numbers, calls either mid morning or mid afternoon. Never leaves a message. Can only assume call centre or scammer.

Left a voice message which turned out to be blank - very similar number to the many received in recent weeks and subsequently blocked.

Very pushy and elaborately set up sales bot trying to sell "too good to be true" wine deals....

Get lots of these. Seems like anything starting with 0485 is a scam...
