Left a voicemail saying they’re simply energy. Was an automated voice

0485 817 489 Is a scam! Simply energy would never call from a mobile number and an automated voice would never ask you to input your DOB

This is Simply Energy. They call when you have an overdue account, even if it’s just 3 or 4 days overdue. I’ve told them time & time again - they get paid when I do. I just don’t bother answering anymore.

This is actually a Simply Energy mobile number. My bill email got buried and I had not paid it by the due date. I would never put in details in response to an automated message, but it was a prompt to check through my emails and find that I had got an overdue bill!

Called me on Good Friday. Doubtful they would be working. All my bills are up to date.

Claimed to be simply energy and advised to call a 1800 number. Called Simply Energy on their customer service line to make sure it was a legit phone call and they have no record of calling me, they advised not to call back. SCAM!

Despite not having ANY bills overdue with Simply Energy EVER (& despite Blocking this number!) without fail every 3-4 weeks my Spam Missed Call Alert goes off and it's this mobile number - frustrating and intrusive as hell, absolutely a total SCAM!

I have had two missed calls from this number…once on Melbourne cup day public holiday and now on Labor day weekend public holiday. You’d think they’d sought their sh$t out?!

This is definitely Simply Energy & they don’t wait 7 days!! I got one 4 days after the due date & 2 of those days were Saturday & Sunday!! I’ve told them time & time again - they get paid when I do so if the bill is due on my “off pay week” they have to wait! But I still get the calls - which I ignore.

The main reason I left Simply Energy is because you can be 7 days overdue on your bill and they will hammer call you and not leave a message the first time.

It's a disgusting way to treat customers so farewell to the French company and their shady business practices.

I called the number expecting it to be unlisted but a recorded message said thank you for calling Simply Energy and went on to say to learn how Simply Energy uses your personal data.... I'm undecided on this but have blocked the number anyway as a precaution because I have Simply Energy contact me by email!

this number IS actually Simply Energy automated late bill service, NOT SPAM OR SCAM! I got 2 missed calls today, and one left a message to call their 1800 number for an overdue bill, I called it and they verified.

I see there are people saying that it claims to be from Simply Energy. Would they call from a mobile though? My phone blocked the call as a precaution. Yesterday I did have (I believe) a legitimate text from Simply Energy asking me to phone them on 180065475 because I hadn't paid my last bill. Seems I hadn't, so could be legit but on their website, the number given is 13 88 08.
