Caller: Olina from NBN

Call from this number claimed to be from NBN that wanted to upgrade my internet speed. Firstly, wanted to upgrade from copper to fibre, then offered to upgrade modem as my internet speed too low. Then wanted to upgrade fibre! Also wanted me to check internet speed from my end. Right from the start this was scam call. I asked for a call back number as I had a (fictitious) visitor and had to go. Was given 1800 687 626. Plenty of reports of scam under that number.

Hung up when answered. Scam.

Claimed ( in robotic voice) that someone made a bogus charge on my PayPal account and I needed to verify it..load of codswallop

"Your card will be charged $129 for Amazon membership. Press 1" etc..I hung up and blocked no.

Speak in Mandarin. Scam call

Claim someone was debiting my Visa card.Hung up and blocked number.

I answer, he say, NBN problems, I say swear word...hehang up . Seinfeld, table for four 😂😂😂🙋

Caller: "Adam Smith from CBA"

Scam call. Tried to pretend he was from Cyber Security of Commonwealth Bank stopping a dodgy transaction. Introduced himself as "Adam Smith" with a heavy Indian accent haha, classic. Hund up the second I asked how often the scam works.

Scam Caller - Rings and hangs up, when you try to call back it just disconnects, spoofed number, fraudulent caller

Answered and the robotic voice said “Hello valued customer, someone is trying to deduct $1,199 from your account, press 1 or 2 to authenticate”

Advise of a fictions entry on credit card

Caller: I don’t know,

All they said when I answered was in a robotic call centre voice “ hello valued customer” and ii hung up
