Scam -poor quality audio phone message claiming that they are checking payment of $200+ from an account.

Caller: They claimed to be from Telstra

Trying to tell me that there was a problem with my internet service. He hung up when I asked if he was a scammer!!!

he told me he was from commonwealth bank and he was protecting me from an unauthorised payment made to an overseas person. Told him he was RORT as I would not touch commonwealth bank with a barge pole so he must be scammer too, he hung up

Indian male with an aussie name says Telstra wants to upgrade my service to optical fibre. I told him OK just do it. He kept talking as I hanged up on him.

Caller: John Wilson (bullsh*t artist & scammer)

Said his name was John Wilson from Telstra but he had an extreme Indian accent (surely Telstra wouldn't employ such a d*ckhead) and I'm puzzled how an overseas call centre can mimic an aussie mobile? He eventually asked me to download 'Any desk' in order for him to remove a virus from my laptop. I immediately googled AnyDesk and read that it's the favourite tool of scammers. He became angry with me so I hung up.

Spam call from 0483 916 634. Did not answer it as Mobile detects Unauthorized incoming calls. I spent 40 yrs with my team since 1999 to 2008. And now Telstra tells me that they do not have the resources to stop scammers from duplicating their phone number. I have trace it and coming from India.Thank you

Scam I’d say. Well, when they try to call a WiFi modem you know it’s just random calling trying to find victims.

Recorded message, said they were ANZ visa and that money had been taken from the account for a inline gift card purchase and to press one if you didn't make this transaction

From Indian call centre put in block list, help for a bit till they use a different number. Never ending… someday things may change
