SCAM !!!!! I am calling from Commonwealth Bank to confirm that you paid John Smith in New York has been paid $800. I said I do not bank with Commonwealth Bank and they hung up on me

SCAM!! Female voice sounded like recording saying “International UPS delivery service… “ and I’m sure would have put me through to someone to give money or bank details etc too but I don’t even stay on the line that long to hear I just hang up! Blocked, reported to Scamwatch as well

Called to say that multiple transaction to my Comm bank. Wanted to connect via PC. Hung up.

Claiming to be Telstra and that my service would be cut off.

Caller: Someone know my name

Calling for someone with speaking mandarin language. Fake new and trying to scare me.

Caller: Robot voices then chinese recorded voice

Got a voicemail, an English robot voice was cut off and said "-you have submitted, please chat with us to make corrections", then a recorded female voice message in Chinese continues after. Potential Fraud, block number.

Female recorded voice - pretending Vodafone account block to reactivation

A few moments silence followed by female voice with American accent saying that my Vodafone phone is aboiut to be cut off. Followed by, presumably, the same message in Chinese. I am fairly sure that I blocked this number a few months ago.

Caller: CDC Australia

Said he is from Australian Centre for Disease Control CDC, and I am in high risk as my phone signal was being detected in Canberra hospital........,

0483 914 517 and 0483 9146517 are Commback scam

Luckily my phone (which I usually curse for not being very "smart" at all) sent the attempted call from this number automatically to spam/blocked. But quite shocked to see how many reports are on here. Best policy I've always adhered to is never answer calls from unknown numbers.

Called to say $299.39 would be debited to my account unless I called to cancel. Called number and message “number you have called is not available. Please call your service provider”. Obvious Scam.

Robot talking about tax transactions. Could barely understand before hanging up

Was claiming our internet is slow. Offering at no charge to upgrade our internet to optic fibre. I advised we are optic fibre connected.

Michael calling from Visa Mastercard saying they need authorisation for an transaction for $800 for medical expenses for Robert Smith. When asked which bank it was "ummm commonwealth" and when I asked details to verify they hung up on me

Sounded like a busy call centre. A man was talking in Hindi to someone else where he was. I could make out he said something about an IP address and then hung up.

Said it was PayPal with a charge of $799, said I should call back to dispute the charge.
