Called to say they are from PayPal and my account had a request for $778.00. When I pressed 1 on keypad, was connected to a woman sounding foreign. Once she told me the "scam" I said I would go directly to my own PayPal account and look for myself. She asked for my user name. Which I said it was "iseethroughyourscam @ hotmail.com (which she didn't realise until she got to the end. She started abusing me saying "You white ppl ruin Austraila" I went on to give her some complainments of my own... Optus and Telstra sell these numbers and do nothing about the scammers. As long as their bill is paid, the telco's don't care......

Caller: NBN Scam

Caller from 0483 913 878 said he was NBN. Not worried when I told him that I was recording his call. Said his name is Tercher Wilson. His NBN ID is 8600052. He told me that I could contact him back on 1800 689 626. I told him that I would call him back after I had checked him out.

Mistakenly answered this call 0483 913 878 to find female voice advising a proposed on line shopping debit for over $1000.00 on credit card.I hung up when I realised this is same call received twice in last 3 weeks on land line. Anonymous

robocall from the Visa and Mastercard department

Call accidentally picked up from this number however it hung up moments after. Not surprised to see it reported here as a scam

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

Called back and was hung up on. Based upon the above information, I will add to my do not pick up list.

Recorded message saying they are from visa and Mastercard department of bank. Banks either have visa or Mastercard not both….. SCAM

Caller: NBN

Claiming they are calling from NBN doing a service check but you could clearly tell it was a scam call.

Caller: Sounded like Asian male.

Took a while to speak after I answered. Only identified himself by first name. Claimed to be calling about problem detected with speed of my internet connection. I replied "not interested" and hung up.

Caller: Visa/Mastercard

Second time in 3 days but different number, recorded scam call from Visa/Mastercard stating a request to pay or report as fraud - “Press 1 to report or 2 to authorise”. Blocked
