Caller: Scammer

Indian-sounding man identified himself as Michael Edward from Cybersecurity Department of Commonwealth Bank. I called him out for a scammer and he hung up.

Came up as suspected scam. Didnt answer. Thanks to whoever reported.

scammer number lucky my phone picks it up 2nd one today. Government should do something about this...

This call registered as a Fraud Call - I did not answer

Same happened to me, I hung up to!

Said they where from Telstra, told me I have problems with my internet, asked me what computer or tablets we are using. I told them that they were not Telstra and hung up

Do not answer, rang on landline but nobody knows this number so I not answer

Woman with Indian accent called. Claimed to be from Telstra and was calling to tell me that my internet wasn't secure and someone other than me was trying to use it. I thanked her for the warning and said abruptly ended the call saying that I urgently had to call my real ISP and VicPol to let them know. Scammers!

Caller hung up when I answered with "Australia fraud reporting hotline".. I'd had several scam calls supposedly from NBN earlier in the day.

Got call from this number but not pick up. Come up as potential fraud.

Caller: Stefan

Scam, he somehow had my surname and bank but clearly is just reeling off whatever BS to try and get people to hand over their bank details. Said something about authorising $800 to New Zealand. He then stumbled over where he was from. They run multiple scams to Westpac and CBA customers. Just hang up.

Caller: Visa and mastercard

Automated message saying my visa and Mastercard is being investigated

An automated voice recited some bogus about $265 being retracted from my account unless I organised otherwise with no initial identification of what company they were calling from - definitely a scam.

I have an ap on my phone that silences numbers not in my phone’s address book or numbers I’ve previously called before. So this number calls today but is automatically silenced because the number was unknown to me. My first action after something like this happens is to look the number up on Reverse Australia. If I read that a number has scam review, I don’t bother to call back. Thank you to others who report scam numbers.

Picked up this call, but no one answered, so suspect it is a scammer
