I would like to leave a follow up to my last message i posted on May 8, 2026.
I talked with Dasher support, and the biggest confusion was that they stated that 0483 906 580 is not associated with Dasher at all, this is INCORRECT. They tried to say "I tried calling it and it doesn't connect, so it isn't associated with Dasher" that immediately told me the Dasher support personnell had no idea what they are talking about.
0483 906 580 is the auto-text system for Australia, for when you go via the website (and maybe the app) and do "forgot my password", that's where the 2fa indeed comes from.
Thus, the scammer customer is operating the forgot password function of the dasher website, and trying to obtain the 2fa from you. 0483 906 580 is known and safe, it is Dasher. (But giving your 2FA code out is obviously not safe).

I am a Dasher driver, a caller (potentially AI) called me whilst I was on a delivery run for Dasher, the call taker knew my name and the order I was currently on. They advised they need to cancel the order and give me compensation, they asked for my phone number which I gave them, and then a 2fa code was sent to me via text, and they asked for this number.
