Missed call - no message. Have had multiple calls from similar numbers 0483 90x xxx over the last 4 weeks, the ones I've answered say they are Telstra and say I have a internet security problem and all callers have a Indian accent.

Messaged me “Hello?” Out of the blue - searched this number here to see multiple entries of scam. Blocking number immediately.

Caller: 0483 900 342

This Indian person was claiming to be from the Australian cyber security teams and got my mother to download an app called AnyDesk The app was able to allow people access to her screen and view all her personal information if she went into that particular app. The caller/scammer was able to gain access to some things but not sign in details or passwords for her financial institutes before I stepped in. So glad I stepped in when I did as he was getting quite rude with me thinking I’m the stupid one.

Caller: Claiming to be credit card approval service

Recorded message saying it was in relation to a visa or mastercard payment for $1000 relating to an online purchase. To cancel payment press 1, approve payment press 2 - I hung up.
