I just got this scam texted to me
"Order Confirmed payment $3969.99 against Canon EOS R6 Camera at AMZ. Order Number 165327460 on 2021-04-08. Helpline 01800 491 580 if any dispute , Thank you."

A text is addressed to me with this message: “That was not allowed to be published. Still, it’s online. Now it is read more than 150,000 times a day. https://grreu.com/6Tv”.

I just received exactly the same SMS except the 1800 number to ring was slightly different!

Received SMS from 0483 886 246 saying I had paid $3969.99 against Apple MacBook at Amazon, and to contact 1800 950 475 if not me.

Message reads: "IMPORTANT - You paid $3969.99 against Apple MacBook Pro. . . .AMAZON order id 03164521. . .Please Contact 1800 950 475." I checked US and AUS Amazon and There are no suspicious orders on my account. Clearly a scam, but to induce calling a phone number. I'm tempted to see what happens if I call, but. . .
