Got a text message claiming my debit card was blocked due to suspicious activity with a phone number (as a link) to click on... 02 800-75096

Got text message scam:
"we have seen suspicious transaction on your account and blocked your card temporarily. Call us right now (03) 9005 7427)"

Message "Hi Your Debit Card has been suspended due to suspicious transaction on your card. If you want to activate. Call us (03) 9005 7427.
I didn't call the number.

Same. Scam Is there any reason why the telcos don't do more to shut these numbers down? Almost a month of people reporting it.

Got a text message claiming my debit card was blocked due to suspicious activity

Message from 0482 687 426 saying unusual activity on card, and have suspended card. Forwarded message to ACMA spam line as per the other reports from people on this reverseaustralia website.

Caller: Looks like spam

Same msg saying my card suspended and to call them on a land line number. Forwarded spam via sms to the ACMA Spam line 0429 999 888..

Scam message claiming debit card has been blocked? DON'T answer or return call...phone # displayed most likely hacked...

25JUL22 Received a txt from 0482 687 426 saying my debit card was blocked due to suspicious activity and to call (02) 8006 0019 for details.

I forwarded the scam SMS to 0429 999 888.

Fake suspicious activity on my debit card
No bank details etc

Got a text saying my debit card had been blocked and to ring another number to resolve the issue

Someone text me to say my debit card has been blocked from online payments and cash withdrawals

Caller: Sms

Fake report of debit card misuse. No mention of my name or the bank name.

Requested me to call (02) 8007 5096

Claiming to be my bank and that my debit card has been blocked

got a text message from this number telling me my credit card had been blocked and to ring another number for further information - (02) 8007 5096
